How It Actually Works

  • Basic Steep: Heat water to 212°F (full boil). Add 1-2 tablespoons loose tea per 8oz water. Steep 3-5 minutes. Strain. Drink hot or let it cool if you want it iced.
  • With Milk (Recommended): Boil water, steep tea as above. Add equal parts warm milk or dairy alternative after steeping. The cocoa blends better with milk than water—you'll notice.
  • Stronger Flavor: Add more leaves, not more time. Over-steeping can turn rooibos bitter even though it's naturally mild.
  • Storage: Keep jar sealed in a cool, dark place. Away from the stove heat, away from direct sun. Should stay fresh for months but tastes best within six months of opening.

CAUTIONS: Contains Soy Lethicin, a known allergen.
